Jeffery Alan Jones has scored original music and sound design for over 75 films
and documentaries, including: Mel Gibson’s "We Were Soldiers''; "Man, Woman,
Film" starring Cameron Diaz; "Net Games" starring Ed Begley Jr.; "Fairplay"
starring Ed Asner; "Blind Heat" starring Jeff Fahey and Maria Conchita Alonso;
"The Shark Tank Redemption"; and "Tupac Vs.". Among Jeff’s award
winning films are: "Inside" (San Francisco Film Festival), "Jasmin's Swim" (South by Southwest Film Festival), and "How I Saved the World" (New York Film Festival).
In addition to Jeff Jones’ many compositions for film, he has also written music
for more than a dozen television commercials, including spots for Nike,
Samsonite, Miller Beer, the A&E Channel, National Geographic, PBS, The Playboy Channel, Bally’s Fitness and Skechers.
In September 2003, Jeff was invited to conduct the Chinese National Symphony Orchestra in Beijing, China. The event was so well received that he was been invited back as guest conductor in January 2004. He has also conducted The Royal Pacific Symphony, The Culver City Civic Light Opera, The Long Beach Chamber Ensemble, and film score recording orchestras.
